Kalimocho Boys debut highlights trials of 2020, tribute to Tom Petty
Born in a Sh*tstorm, the six song debut from Kalimocho Boys, is out 10/13/20. Formed as a Country Western band but only talented enough to rock and roll, their sound and lyrics reflect the angst of this turbulent time in a way only the Pacific Northwest can. ‘Heavy on the Petty’ is both a tribute to the late musician and uses his own wordplay to describe a toxic relationship.
On Kalimocho Boys.com, the band will celebrate their first single all month with additional releases, visual art and live concerts, with the opportunity to preorder their accompanying visual graphic zine. In leiu of touring, Kalimocho Boys will be experimenting with online formats.
Kalimocho Boys are all mod cons from Seattle, WA, with shades of country, punk and folk. Formed during the maelstrom of the first wave pandemic, this band combines the social politics of The Clash with the raw hooks and power pop stylings of The Clash.
